shot one - argument during the opening instrumental
shot two - 'I was tired of my lady...'
shot three - '...we'd been together too long.'
shot 4 - 'like a worn out recording of a favourite song.'
shot 5 - 'so while I lay there sleeping, I read the paper in bed.'
shot 6 - 'and in the personal columns, there was this letter I read...'
shot 7 - 'if you like pina coladas... write to me and escape.'
shot 8 - 'I didn't think about my lady, I know that sounds kind of mean.'
shot 9 - 'but me and my old lady had fallen into the same old dull routine.'
shot 10 - 'so I wrote to the paper - took out a personal ad.'
shot 11 - 'and though I'm nobody's poet, I thought it wasn't half bad.'
shot 12 - 'yes I like pina colada... where we'll plan our escape.'
shot 13 - 'so I waited with high hopes'
shot 14 - 'and she walked in the place.'
shot 15 - 'I knew her smile in an instance, I knew the curve of her face.'
shot 16 - 'it was my own lovely lady.'
shot 17 - 'and she said 'oh, it's you, then we laughed for a moment.'
